Back country Immersion with pack goats : September 2025

$900.00

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the wild and test your limits?

Join us for an unforgettable 6-day survival immersion ( September 22nd-27th) in the untamed wilderness of Swamp Lake, Washington. This advanced experience will challenge your skills and deepen your connection to nature as you learn to thrive in the wild using traditional methods.

Living with Limited Resources:

This isn’t your average wilderness experience. The 6-day immersion is designed for advanced survivalists—there will be limited food, and participants will fast for part of the course while relying on their skills to source food from the land. You’ll be working with pack goats, learning how to care for and utilize them for resources, as well as honoring the life of a goat as part of a sustainable, respectful approach to sourcing food in the wilderness. We’ll also explore wild edibles and freshwater fish, providing you with essential knowledge to thrive when modern resources aren’t available.

The Experience:

Throughout the immersion, you will be expected to be fully involved in all aspects of the wilderness survival experience, including daily chores, setting up camp, and honing your survival skills. You’ll work as a team, supporting each other in the tasks that keep the group safe and fed. By the end of the experience, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how to live harmoniously with nature and how to adapt to the land for survival.

This immersion is not for the faint of heart. It requires a strong mind, body, and spirit. You will push yourself, but the rewards are immense confidence, strength, and a true understanding of the wild.

What You’ll Learn and Experience:

Shelter Building:

Master the art of creating a shelter using the natural resources around you. You’ll gain the skills to build sturdy, functional structures that will keep you safe and warm, even in the harshest conditions.

Fire Craft:

Discover ancient fire-making techniques. From friction fire to using primitive tools, you’ll learn to create and maintain a fire, even in wet conditions.

Water Sourcing and Purification:

Learn how to identify and source safe drinking water from the environment. We’ll cover methods for purifying water using natural filtration and boiling techniques.

Navigation and Hiking:

Test your skills with compass and map navigation, and hike through the rugged terrain of Swamp Lake. Develop an understanding of the landscape and how to orient yourself in the wild without the use of modern technology.

Nature Games and Survival Skills:

Engage in hands-on survival challenges that will help you sharpen your instincts. From tracking and identification of plants and animals to advanced foraging techniques, you’ll experience nature in a whole new way.

Fishing & Traps:

Learn essential skills for sourcing food from your environment. From primitive fishing methods to constructing survival traps, you’ll gain the tools to provide for yourself in the wild.

Primitive Bow Making (with Maple Staves):

Craft your very own survival bow using maple staves. This hands-on experience will teach you the ancient craft of bow-making, a skill that’s both rewarding and practical in the wilderness.
