Join us at Our Basecamp Along the Dosewallips River

Wild Nest will be held at our riverside basecamp along the Dosewallips River in Brinnon, Washington: a place where forest, water, and mountain meet.

This land carries a long history of movement, life, and connection. The river has sustained people, animals, and ecosystems for generations, and continues to flow as a source of nourishment and renewal.

We gather here with respect for the Indigenous peoples who have long been in relationship with this land, and we honor that this place has a deeper story than our time on it.

The basecamp itself has been cared for and stewarded by the Coones family for generations. Their relationship with this land has helped preserve its wildness, allowing spaces like this to still exist.

During our time together, we are not just visiting: we are stepping into a living landscape. We ask all who gather here to move with care, respect, and awareness for the land, the water, and one another.

This space offers the best of both worlds:
✨ Comfort + shelter when you need it
✨ Wild, open nature when you crave space
✨ Safety + privacy for mothers and babies
✨ On-site porta potties for ease and comfort
✨ Communal kitchen area for shared meals and connection
✨ Close access to a general store in town for any needs or emergencies
